Foundational Scripture
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people… Revelation 14:6
In Matthew’s gospel Jesus commissioned each believer to spread God’s Word and continue the mission He started, saying:
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:20
Just prior to His ascension into heaven, He defined the scope of our mission:
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:8
We take our God-given mission seriously. God’s concern for the “lost” covers all people, everywhere. Recognizing that, we support a broad variety of initiatives to reach people and people groups with the message and proof of God’s love for them. We are very intentional about fulfilling that work in each of the four geographical areas mentioned in the Acts 1 passage. Accordingly, our Missions efforts include the following areas and organizations:
